FARMLAND INVESTMENTS
To be clear, we are not agricultural real estate brokers, but instead, we take a pro-active long-term perspective in the development of a new generation of environmentally and financially sustainable farm operations.
Our farmland-investments are focused in central and eastern Europe and can be sub-divided into three categories:
I.Farm Enterprises
II. High Potential Farm Operations
III. Farmland and Timber
Type I Farm Enterprises
These state-of-the-art fully operational farms are proven companies in which all processes are coordinated, monitored and optimized. The existing management is highly experienced with a reputable track record, and high-level of commitment to the future of the business.
This investment type provides an opportunity for investors both with and without expertise in agriculture and farming to gain exposure to commodity prices and farmland valuation.
Type II High Potential Farm Operations
This venture incorporates farmland similar to that found it Type I, with infrastructure such as buildings and machinery. These farms are characterized by excellent soils/climate conditions and high growth potential. To capitalize on these characteristics an infrastructure investment plan will be executed to maximize financial and operational performance.
This investment type provides investors with experience in agriculture the opportunity to transform the investment into an outperforming investment by investing in infrastructure and exploiting the solid fundamental characteristics of an existing farm operation.
Type III Farmland and Timber
High-quality farmland and timberland in terms of soil, climate conditions and potential land value appreciation. Farmland is used to grow, amongst others, corn, barley, wheat, soya, sunflowers, and canola (rapeseed). The forestry areas provide excellent density with high yields.
This investment type provides an opportunity for investors both with and without expertise in agriculture and farming who wish to obtain a cash rent without being involved in farming itself.
