R.J.A. Cortenraad (1975) - Chief Operational Officer / Investor Relations CRE Investments
In 1996, after having completed both commercial and technical studies, Mr R.J.A. Cortenraad started an automotive company. During the past years, he has been able to develop this company into a highly successful business, which continuous to perform excellently, despite the current, adverse economic climate.

As from 1998, he has purchased both private and business properties for his own investment portfolio, both in the Netherlands and abroad, and as such has gained ample experience in various investment sectors.

Mr. J.B.G.M. Maas (1959) - Chief Financial Officer / Acquisitions
Civil and tax lawyer, after having completed his study Dutch law in Nijmegen (The Netherlands), he studied tax law (cum laude) in Tilburg (The Netherlands). In addition, he obtained the training certificate for the legal profession.

He was affiliated to Tilburg University as a university lecturer for over a decade and, in addition, was employed as a tax consultant for nearly 25 years. Apart from the work he carries out within our organization (acquisition of farms, inspection of all the legal and tax aspects regarding the farms and coordination of the due diligence), he is practicing as an advisor within the notarial practice in the Netherlands.

In addition to tax law, Mr. Maas specializes in company law and agricultural law. Furthermore, he has been guiding Dutch agriculturalists purchasing businesses abroad for over 20 years.

Prof. dr ir J.M.E. Pennings (1971) - Chairman
is the AST professor in Theory and Practice of Commodity Markets of Wageningen University (NL) a Research Fellow in the Office for Futures & Options Research at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (U.S.A), professor in behavioral finance at Maastricht University (NL) and professor of Marketing at Maastricht University (NL).

Professor Pennings is an authority on commodity risk management and commodity markets. Professor Pennings is an expert in financial product development (developing new derivatives and initiating new futures and option exchanges) and commodity (agricultural) investment strategies and has a broad network in the commodity-agricultural and financial services industry.

Professor Pennings has written more than 80 articles in international refereed scientific journals and has held more than 90 presentations at academic conferences. Professor Pennings consults for international operating companies and governments on risk management, product development and investment strategies.

Dr. C. Rumi (1974) - Chief Legal Officer / Acquisitions

Civil lawyer and expert lawyer specialized in real estate trade. He has graduated from University of Law in Pécs, Hungary and has completed European legal studies at the University of Graz. He has qualified as an expert lawyer specialized in real estate trade at the Eötvös Lóránd University in Budapest (Hungary). In addition, he obtained the training certificate for the legal profession.

He has taken a degree summa cum laude, besides as a scholarship of the republic and he won the prize on the National Competition of the Departments of Law with his dissertation on the tax allowances of the enterprises and privacy from the radical changes of the regime to date.


Between 1996-2001 Dr. Rumi was joint proprietor and manager of a Dutch and Hungarian company. The main company profile is development and trading real estate.
From 2001 onwards he is the owner and controller of a legal consulting company with an international clientele, while remaining the joint proprietor of the company mentioned above, having assigned its daily controlling tasks to the management. The main scope of business of the consulting company is counselling in connection with real estate and company law transactions, and concerning the related issues of taxation.

From 2010 onwards, he is member of the Budapest Bar Association.

Ir H.F.M. Walker (1973) - Chief Risk Officer
Agricultural economist with major in futures markets & clearing, marketing and business economics at Wageningen University (Netherlands). He has done research on risk management for commodity exchanges and clearing houses and was visiting scholar at the Office for Futures & Options Research, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, (U.S.A).

Walker has worked in the financial services industry for, among others, Amsterdam Exchanges (product development), Merchant Bank Kempen & Co (market risk management) and Dexia Bank (market and credit risk management of a € 4.5 bln portfolio). These challenging experiences has formed his very deep knowledge in risk management practices.

From 2006 onwards, Walker is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of a risk management company with locations in Netherlands and U.S.A. that provides services to amongst others the agro and commodities industry and develops new financial risk management/investment products.
